You may have heard about veneers, and how they cover up the front teeth to hide imperfections such as stains, cracks, and gaps between teeth. But Lumineers are a new kind of veneer, and in many ways they’re much better than ever before.
Lumineers are thinner than veneers (which are already wafer-thin to begin with). The dentist can place a Lumineer over your tooth without having to reduce some of its tooth structures. The process is also much simpler, and it isn’t painful either.
Lumineer placements are also reversible, so you can replace them anytime you want. However, if you don’t want to replace them then you can expect them to last for as long as 20 years, with proper care of course.
The latest advances have paved the way for Lumineers with Luminate in LUMITray Technology. With this technology, you have a digital design that allows you to have a preview of what your smile would look like with the Lumineers installed.
This new tech also allows for even faster installation. In fact, it’s possible for the dentist to put all the veneers you need in one visit instead of several visits. You only need 2 visits to the office; one for the creation of the teeth mold, and then the second one will be for the placement of your Lumineers.
After your second appointment, you’ll leave our office with bright, perfectly shaped teeth and a gorgeous smile!
